_bm3 Q: Who develops SyncBack Freeware?

A: In early 2004 Michael J. Leaver, from MJLSoftware, and Mike de Sousa, from AbleStable, created the software company  2BrightSparks which took over the development and support of the freeware programs SyncBack, InstallSpy, FireLogXP, and FingerPrint. Richard Gascoigne joined the team mid 2004 and the company was formally incorporated as 2BrightSparks Pte Ltd. in November 2004.

Since its incorporation the company has released the highly successful commercial program SyncBackSE that boasts many more powerful features than its freeware namesake and which has won numerous awards including the PC World Class award in 2005. 2BrightSparks Pte Ltd has developed new freeware under the brand "OnClick Utilities" that include:

EncryptOnClick: a program that lets you securely encrypt and decrypt files. Ensure the files you want to keep safe and out of view from others stay that way. The program is very simple to use and features military grade 256-bit AES encryption.

DeleteOnClick: a very simple program that lets you securely delete files. A securely deleted file cannot be recovered or undeleted. Securely deleted files are not moved to the recycle bin. For this reason the program should be used with care.

HashOnClick: a program to calculate the CRC-32, MD5, or SHA-1 hash value for a file. It is implemented as a shell extension, i.e. right-click on a file, in Windows Explorer, to calculate the hash value for a file. It's that simple!
